Christmas Trees

I remember, I remember
One day when I was three
Around Christmas in December,
What happened to our tree:
First of all the fairy fell
And then the lights went out.
And then the decorations fell-
That made my mother shout.
But I was too young then, you see,
As I was only three,
To understand the problem
Of putting up a tree.
I remember, I remember
One day when I was three
Around Christmas in December,
What happened to our tree:
First of all the fairy fell
And then the lights went out.
And then the decorations fell-
That made my mother shout.
But I was too young then, you see,
As I was only three,
To understand the problem
Of putting up a tree.

Pamela, Happy Christmas to you and to Edward :)

Barb, I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas too.

Texican, thanks for the New year wishes, and Spouse, Mater and I wish you the same.
Spouse thought I should post that poem because yesterday the tree caused a little bit of trouble; the lights stopped working and I couldn't get them out of the tree because the wires were tangled in the tinsel and the tinsel was tangled in the branches and I had to redo the whole thing and let's just say that the poem was quite apt yesterday :|

Please look around, explore my writing, leave a crumb:
